GrĂ¡inne Lynch graduated with a BSc in Software Development and Computer Networking in 2001 and went on to complete a Masters of Engineering in Electronic Engineering in 2003, both in the Cork Institute of Technology. Grainne worked as a software developer on multi-tier enterprise systems and as a and project manager for 10 years. Having gained experience dealing with maritime transport and logistics software through FP7 projects, she joined the NMCI in 2011 where she is responsible for Research Development in the area of Shipping, Transport and Logistics.
