Lt. Cmdr. Tony Geraghty
Postgraduate
Tony is a serving Commander in the Irish Naval Service. Tony was supported by funding from the Halpin Centre under the REMCAP project to pursue a Masters in Business Studies (MBS) with University College Cork. Tony's thesis was entitled Irish Maritime Governance & Integrated Marine Plan 2012 and questioned if the Irish Maritime Governance Network supports Ireland’s Integrated Marine Plan 2012. Tony was the first Irish Naval Service Officer to receive continuous professional development funding support from the Halpin Centre.

Prasad Gade
Postgraduate
Prasad studied with Halpin from 2012 to 2015 and worked on the DARIUS and PERSEUS projects. In 2015, Prasad graduated with a Cork Institute of Technology Masters in Computer Science. His thesis addressed technical challenges concerning maritime border security surveillance tasks. Folloiwng graduation, Prasad worked with GAC Training & Service Solutions (GTSS), one of NMCI's joint venture companies. In early 2017 Prasad set up a software development business.

Amy Garde
Work Experience Placement
Amy worked as a Summer intern with Halpin in 2014 and 2015 while she was studying for a computer science degree in University College Cork. Amy worked on software development related to the SMARTCOAST project.
