Announcing "THE FUTURE OF ARCTIC SHIPPING", a one day workshop to take place at the National Maritime College of Ireland, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, Ireland (Eircode P43XV65) on June 26th 2018.
The EU Horizon 2020 funded project SEDNA is developing an innovative and integrated approach to safe Arctic operations and ship design. This workshop will focus on identifying the future trends in Arctic shipping. It will be of interest to seafarers and other professionals who are working in polar waters or have an interest in such activities and operations. The workshop will facilitated by experts in Arctic Climate, Arctic Engineering, Arctic Shipping and Arctic Trade & Logistics. The focus will be on future trends in these areas and the implications for vessel design and operations.
